Vidya to pair opposite Abhishek in Balki’s Pa
The father-son duo in Buntie aur Bubli, had created much buzzdonning the caps of a cop and an imposter, but the duo will be playing real-life father and son in Balki’s forthcoming Pa. If you remember Balki’s Cheeni Kum, which created quite an interst in both audience and critics showed the best in Tabu and Amitabh. But Tabu will be missing from the scene as Vidya takes up the role of the leading lady in the movie.
The prodigal son, appreciated his dad’s experience eyes and decided on a fresh face for the film. Amitabh has much appreciated Vidya’s efforts in Parineeta and Eklavya,w here he even worked with her. Big B even compared her to the graceful Waheeda Rehman. After working with the top of the line Bollywood actresses, Abhishek wanted to work with a fresher face. Luckily, Vidya gets to do the film while Tabu misses out as there is no love interest for the father.
