Soha plays a darker character in Khoya Khoya Chand

This time it is neither Saif for his affairs nor Pataudi for his animal hunt, it is Soha Ali khan, who is in news for her new film Khoya Khoya Chand. The film was released last Friday. Soha started her filmy career with Ye Dil Mange More with Shahid, and the film did well. Her delicate presence in her last film Ahista Ahista made a serious snap towards her role in the Bollywood but now she decided to change this image by doing dark and comic roles. She says, ” Ahista Ahista was the first film to feature me as ‘the heroine’.

So far, I have been part of ensemble casts like Rang De Basanti and Pyaar Mein Twist. Yeah, I agree films like Antarmahal, Rang De Basanti and Ahista Ahista have had me play timid characters, though I am not the least like that in real life. I would like to do something funny and maybe something a little dark. I think I have been vulnerable often enough on screen. Now I would like to tap other aspects of my personality.

That opportunity to play a darker character than the characters I generally play would occur in Sudhir Mishra’s Khoya Khoya Chand. I want to do something that would make people laugh. In real life I’ve a lot of self-confidence and I think I’ve a sense of humor”. This shows that she is not in a hurry and quite happy with her image in Bollywood.
