Shilpa Shukla aka Bindia Naik of Chak De fame goes international!
Who can ever forget the sly archness of Bindia Naik in Chak De? She definitely made a powerful impact with the negative role she had to play and the positive hints were also not unnoticed. This accounts for the fact that the Chak De girl Shilpa Shukla has bagged an international film titled Extrospection. This film will be written, directed and produced by Manan Singh Kotohora. Based on Satyajit Ray’s Charulata, with a contemporary background, the film will mark Shilpa’s first step towards an international cinema.
Shilpa has already shown her talents in Chak De India and Khamosh Pani. Extrospection will be going to floors after Kotohora’s film on lesbianism titled Kiran Met Karen is released. The director is already full of praise for his leading lady. That is definitely a good sign for Shilpa and remember that miles to go before you rest.
