Madhuri to receive Padma Shree
One woman who has been ruling Bollywood for over one and half a decade has won all our hearts with her lovely smile and awesome acting skills. She has won many filmfare awards, now it is time for the nation to covet her with Padma Shri for her remarkable contribution to the Indian cinema. Madhuri will be receiving it on 10th May 2008. She would be flying from Florida with husband Dr Sriram Nene. She would also be celebrating her b’day with family and close friends on 15th May.
Obviously the veteran actress is quite thrilled about this being a double occasion for her. She feels acknowledged and honored by being listed among the other eminent personnel. She states that she never eyed for any awards but just did her best. Now, that is being humble, but we have seen her great performances and the Bollywood queen has been loved by many including the famous painter M F Husain and was described as his muse.
