Preity learnt a lot during IPL!
Preity Zinta is back to her glamorous days after spending time cheering her team in the cricket fields. She has lot of things to look forward to like the Bachchan’s Unforgettable world tour.
Preity is busy as the backlog she created during the IPL was waiting for her attention. So she is busy dubbing for her films Harr Pal and Heroes and then she would be off with the Bachchans. She also has about 4 films which are in different stages of being completed. Preity stars opposite Salman Khan in Heroes. She is even doing a cameo in Main Aur Mrs Khanna, which stars Salman & Kareena. She stated she agreed for this because the director Prem Soni, who is her good friend. Deepa Mehta is also making a Punjabi film Heaven On Earth with Preity. Deepa even complimented that Preity is no doubt the best actress that she ever took in her. Deepa had wanted to see the actress in Preity not the star and this makes her wait for the film’s completion.
IPL was one of the times people started noticing Preity & Ness Wadia together at the field. Preity was there for every match her Kings XI Punjab team played. She was seen hugging her team mate after each match. She informs she had always believed in team spirit and after the IPL she has understood even the temperament of cricket. She says she bonded very well with the Sri Lankan and Australian players as well as the younger Indian player. Some of her friends in Bollywood didn’t appreciate that the actress ddnt invite them for the matches. Preity states that she came to realize who her real friends are after the IPL matches. She chuckles that she had a good time on the field and she learnt a lot. She even hopes to win the next IPL series.
Defintiely, the IPL was a great experience and Preity has nothing against it. she is sure to be ready to get her best at the next matches, means she will have a team even next year. The actress says she understand the temperament of cricket no and the same mistakes wont be repeated. She even met with few accidents and was crowded at times. She promises herself that this wont be repeated.
