Having no hatred or hostility in mind, the cricket teams of both India and Pakistan had fun with the inimitable dashing King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. ‘Chak De’ is all about winning, and the evening showed some heart winners. It was a starry and wonderful night. The cricketers of the field were ready to unwind and have a blast that they need after tiring matches on the field. They were entertained by not only King Khan, but also Sajid Khan, who promise your stomach hurts with laughter; the evening just lighted up with foot tapping performances from the sultry Kareena Kapoor, attractive Diya Mirza and the appealing Koena Mitra.

It was amazing the cricketer yielding to the request of King Khan to come on the stage to do some acting performances. Harbhajan Singh was as usual the fun loving star cricketer, who was ready to do his part to enthrall the audience. Though he is just the next-door kind of a guy, and you could relate to him, having fun on the stage, mimicking Shah Rukh Khan. He even had to propose to the beautiful and cute Diya Mirza, which he did with quite some grace.

The sweetheart of the nation Yuvraj Singh was just waiting for his turn to jump on the stage and show how much he can mimic King Khan. All he did was have some fun on the stage and say some dialogues in Punjabi. It was simply hilarious to see him on the stage, trying really hard to impress Shah Rukh. Though when Shah Rukh broke a wine bottle with his head, Yuvi seemed to falter.

One needed to see it to believe, the way these youngster cricket players unfolded themselves. The newest heartthrob of the nation Dhoni won all hearts with his performance acting like Shah Rukh in ‘Don’. He seemed like a quite a better actor of the lot.

The best of the lot thought might be Sreesanth. He just showed that he not only has a talent for cricket but he can just mesmerize everyone with his dancing caliber. He might have left some Bollywood producers wondering, if he would consider doing some movies in future. When affronted with Shah Rukh on his anger on the field, he simply admitted in his not so good Hindi, when one is playing for one’s country the passion is just surmounting.

To set the stage on fire were our firebrand performers, Kareena, Diya and Koena. They paired with Shah Rukh gave us some amazing performances. Shah Rukh managed to keep the live and merry spirit of the show on with his easy ways and simple jokes.

Every one seemed to accommodate and really enjoy his manner of humor. Even the guests like Sohaib Akhtar could not stop laughing when he joked about his anger and how much the King Khan is scared from him. He pleased Saurav Ganguly by saying he was inspired from him to wave his shirt out after a performance. Choreographed by Ganesh Hegde and Neeti Mohan, the dance numbers were simply fantastic.

King Khan also wanted to find out from both skippers on what they find the good and bad things about each other’s team. The unanimous answer was the team’s unity. The answer was loud and clear, everyone loves peace. And a moment when Pakistan is going through a rough phase, this kind of programs send the message across that peace will prevail no matter how bad thing are.

This kind of programs cannot go without certain amount of praise for bridging the gap between the two countries and bring some light and happy moments to both teams fighting the battle on the field. No one could have been a better person to do this amazing job of bringing the two teams together than King Khan. He is loved by both nation and it shows the way he wins hearts over and over again. Finally, the evening was fun filled and a moment to cherish for a long time to come.
