Sushmita was born in a Bengali family to Shubeer Sen, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander and Subhra Sen, worked as a fashion artist and jewelery designer. She has a brother, Rajeev Sen and a sister, Neelam Sen. She was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and grew up in New Delhi. She attended school at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute studying English, and had career plans in journalism. In 2000, she adopted a girl, Renee, as a single mother. (more…)

Sushmita Sen recently approached Shahrukh to do a cameo in her new production Rani Laxmibai. But he turned her down on grounds of ‘no-time’. Rumor has it that King Khan turned Sush down coz she had turned him down saying ‘no-time’, while he had approached her for the Deewangi song from Shahrukh Khan. Hello everybody! It feels like it has been so long, but hardly a week or so. The reason why I feel so is because of the awful lot that has been happening since the last we met!
