Finally, the magical day arrived when the speculations about the release of two big banner movies ( Om Shanti Om and Saawariya) got over and media got a new job of calculating the ups and downs related to these movies all across the world. It seems that both the movies started well with 80 to 100% opening to them on Friday, but according to the rating of different media sources and the audience’ general response, OSO alone is likely to sweep the theaters across the world in the coming days. Saawariya did not rise up to the expectations of Sanjay Leela Bansali’s audience. (more…)
Akshaye Khanna was appreciated for his work in his last release Salaam-E-Ishq, even though the movie failed at the BO. Now, the actor, along with Abbas-Mustan and Bobby Deol, hopes to unleash the magic of Humraaz with Naqaab. Akshaye reveals out why he always avoids the media? He says “I do take my work very seriously, and I am first and foremost a very dedicated actor. I am also a very shy guy so you won’t find me chatting or talking that much. Besides, I often find I’m defending myself more than talking in interviews these days.
