Yesterday, Shah Rukh, dressed in black trouser, white shirt and steel gray court and Juhi in hot pink salwar suit along with her husband Joy Mehta, called on West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee prior to his team’s last match at the Eden Gardens at 12.45. Bhoothnath is a metaphor for all leaving old abandoned parents, for whom the time that they spend with their grand kids is the most memorable of all. The chemistry that between Big B and kids is something that is not unknown. He definitely has his way with them. Talk about Cheeni Kum, Anamika or any of his family movies, he not only looks the age of a perfectly normal Gandpa but acts like one as well. This very factor has been explored to the fullest in Bhoothnath. It could not have been better timed. The kids are having summer holidays and rather than sitting in front of the Video game, they can at least watch a movie that has so much to give in terms of easy-going lessons that we find it so hard to teach the kids. Hats off the Rakesh Roshan for trouncing over all the confusions this movie created before release. Not only going for a compromise with the music director Ram Sampath but even forfeiting to the quite bunch of physiatrists who cure the insane came out to raise their voice against this movie, the filmmakers went through a lot to provide us with some humor to help us gulp down some cool drinks this summer. I am sure they must have had an equally perplexing time while choosing the name for the movie. While some called in inspired from the English movie The Dream Team, some lingered with a masterpiece by Hitchcock titled Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, which is equally absurd as the movie is. None the least, it has been inspired from most masala movies that had anything to do with bringing out a laughter spring but unfortunately, not all movies with spicy themes click. (more…)

She has shown a lot of latent potential even if she has not been getting to play lead roles. As one of the strong women of the film industry Juhi has seen all kinds of weather. She has found much critical praise in her character roles as well as all kinds of roles in many movies for over years now.
