Here are the winners of the 53rd Annual Filmfare Awards. SRK and Kareena bagged the best actor and the actress award. Critics award for best actor went to Darsheel Safary, the young lad who worked with Aamir in Taare Zameen Par. He sure has a long way and a bright future here in Bollywood. (more…)

Marriage is on cards.. after 3 years: says Saif

(photos) Saif says that marriage is on cards but, after 3 years. Kareena’s parents feel such premature announcement of marriage will hamper her career. Her career has taken off in a big way after the phenomenal success of Jab We Met. There were also gossips earlier about a secret nikah, to which Saif called an absolute false. The program was not restricted to just the handing over and receiving of awards but provided entertainment galore, including song and dance performances by leading stars like Kareena Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Saif Ali Khan, Govinda and Neha Dhupia. Finally, the magical day arrived when the speculations about the release of two big banner movies ( Om Shanti Om and Saawariya) got over and media got a new job of calculating the ups and downs related to these movies all across the world. It seems that both the movies started well with 80 to 100% opening to them on Friday, but according to the rating of different media sources and the audience’ general response, OSO alone is likely to sweep the theaters across the world in the coming days. Shahid Kapoor in Jab We MetJab We Met, directed by Imtiaz Ali, takes you back a decade to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Imtiaz Ali has smartly adapted Aditya Chopra’s hit film to a more rustic setting in the Indian Railways. So we have the two main protagonists Geet (Kareena Kapoor) and Aditya Kashyap (Shahid Kapoor) who meet on a train and the story takes off from there. Aditya is the quiet composed lad; who has just lost his father and his love and is thoroughly dejected. He takes the train aimlessly with no clue to where he is headed. Enter Kareena Kapoor as Geet, a bubbly character who talks nineteen to the dozen. (more…)

‘Oh God No God’ to be in lines of Khosla Ka Ghosla

Zee TV has commenced shooting OH GOD NO GOD, a comedy on the lines of KHOSLA KA GHOSLA and BHEJA FRY. The film’s leading starcast is Vinay Pathak, Harsh Chhaya and Divya Dutta. The film is being directed by Ramgopal Varma’s associate Saurabh Shrivastav. Zee TV is also working on another action-comedy movie named HANDSOME 4. Guddu Dhanoa will direct it. (more…)
