Jab We Met, directed by Imtiaz Ali, takes you back a decade to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Imtiaz Ali has smartly adapted Aditya Chopra’s hit film to a more rustic setting in the Indian Railways. So we have the two main protagonists Geet (Kareena Kapoor) and Aditya Kashyap (Shahid Kapoor) who meet on a train and the story takes off from there. Aditya is the quiet composed lad; who has just lost his father and his love and is thoroughly dejected. He takes the train aimlessly with no clue to where he is headed. Zee TV has commenced shooting OH GOD NO GOD, a comedy on the lines of KHOSLA KA GHOSLA and BHEJA FRY. The film’s leading starcast is Vinay Pathak, Harsh Chhaya and Divya Dutta. The film is being directed by Ramgopal Varma’s associate Saurabh Shrivastav. Zee TV is also working on another action-comedy movie named HANDSOME 4. Guddu Dhanoa will direct it. (more…)
