Bhoothnath is a metaphor for all leaving old abandoned parents, for whom the time that they spend with their grand kids is the most memorable of all. The chemistry that between Big B and kids is something that is not unknown. He definitely has his way with them. Talk about Cheeni Kum, Anamika or any of his family movies, he not only looks the age of a perfectly normal Gandpa but acts like one as well. This very factor has been explored to the fullest in Bhoothnath. It could not have been better timed. The kids are having summer holidays and rather than sitting in front of the Video game, they can at least watch a movie that has so much to give in terms of easy-going lessons that we find it so hard to teach the kids. According to her book, India has always been a Super Star, but has remained unaware of her special status. With sixty ‘common’ years of mortal existence and affinity between De’ and India, she has concentrated largely upon the India that was and its present plight. The book deals with the life led by middle class Indians and their effort to be in tune with globalization and fierce competitiveness. Zapak has launched a new gaming Web site exclusively for kids dubbed “Zapak Kids” and has tied-up with Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming movie ‘Bhoothnath’ to create a game pack series revolving around the movie on “Zapak Kids”, which is targeted at kids below 14 years of age, and promises a sleeve of over 70 games that offer edutainment, with other highlights thrown in such as a virtual world exclusively for kids plus kid-specific community features.
