Aamir Khan honoured with a special award in Shanmukhanand hall, Mumbai on April 24th 2008. Present at this event were the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, and actor Shreeram Lagoo. Aamir Khan was presented a special award for his dedicated contribution to indian film industry by Lata Mangeshkar. It definitely needs guts to shoot a movie in a crowded place without the need to bring in extra to look like general pedestrians. Rajkumar Gupta recently shot some scenes of his upcoming Aamir in locations like Bhendi Bazzar Bandra Masjid, Dharavi etc. that too during the pick hours when the rush is more. Aamir was one of the privileged lot to be invited for the Olympic Torch Relay.
