Boney Kapoor has just returned after almost a month and a half abroad. Back in Mumbai he’s ready to shoot Wanted Dead And Alive with Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia and Aseem Merchant. But the surprising aspect of Boney’s production plans is Satish Kaushik who has split professionally with Boney’s brother Anil Kapoor to join hands with Anupam Kher and create their own production house. It seems kind of ironic that the makers of this film decided to call it Awarapan when it is about how a man’s conscience brings him back from the brink. But then again, maybe there is a whole double entendre to the title; it is supposed to be ironic. What ever said and done, this movie does the talking and is a coup of sorts for the Bhatt camp. Mahesh Bhatt’s and Mukesh Bhatt’s AWARAPAN, has been filmed in Pakistan. Directed by Mohit Suri. Although the film has been shot in Hong Kong, Macau, Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer [in India], a substantial portion of the film has also been shot in Pakistan.
