Chimera 2008 Fashion Show
Rosa Catalano, Sucheta Sharma, Mughda Godse, Anu Ranjan, Achala Sachdev, Hard Kaur, Aryan Vaid, Rocky S and many other models and guests were at Chimera 2008 Fashion show on June 6th 2008. Wigan & Leigh College, Mumbai, presents ‘Chimera 2008′, a fashion show organized by the students themselves. The show has been choreographed by Achla Sachdev. It is rated as one of the best fashion shows in the industry created by students.
This year the college will generate 16 incredible designers. Their platform will be their show itself, with themes as diverse as agony of silence, aqua and caravan. Their themes are conceptual and commercially apt. Each student is like a master piece. With an average of 16-25 students graduating each year, they are the finest of the lot!
This year the fashion show will see top models like Carol Gracias, Mugdha Godse, Shonal Rawat, Sucheta, Alessia, Kanishtha, Gabriel, Jaqueline, Somana, Vidyut and many more walk the ramp. The jury has known names like James Ferreira, Designer, Xerxes Bhatena, Designer and Ashley Rebello, Designer. Expected guests are Aryan Vaid, Aditya Pancholi, Anu Shafi Ranjan, Rosa, Vikram Bawa, Babita Malkani and famous rap singer Hard Kaur.
The show will be rated under parameters like design, versatility and use of fasteners. The unusual thing about this show will be fasteners, yes…. Bags, garments and accessories…. All will have a unique usage of zips and velcro.
